Welcome From Pamela

Pamela is a writer, speaker, ordained reverend, and the author of Living a Deeper Faith: Nurture Your Relationship with God and Live a Faith-Fueled Life.

As the founder of Upheld Life, I am grateful you are here for inspiration to keep faith at the center of your life, too! Having faith is not easy (can I get an amen?!), but it's truly a lifesaver. I feel so honored to be a wife, mom, and a woman in ministry, but it makes finding time for faith difficult some days. Am I the only one who has this struggle?! I think I'm in good company! I know there's a way to keep faith at the center of life, and that's what this is all about. Truly, I need faith as my foundation. Although life throws us a lot of curve balls and takes us on a journey marked by highs and lows, we can trust that God is continually faithful. We are in this journey together. I've made my share of mistakes, have been caught up in sinful ways, and am always in need of God's sanctifying work. My hope is to provide godly wisdom on various areas of life that impact your faith, and motivate you to keep rooted in Christ.

My heart is truly committed to the work of Jesus. I am an ordained reverend and pastoral care minister. I provide pastoral counseling, and have a passion for helping people navigate life's challenges and crises while fostering a foundation in Peace. I have a bachelor's in biblical and theology studies, and a master's in counseling and chaplaincy. I am a certified prepare/enrich counselor. I have attended numerous conferences and webinars to expand my understanding of people, and enhance my skills to come alongside of others to foster healing, hope, and restoration.

I currently reside in the Midwest, have been married for seven years, and have two kiddos. I work in church ministry and find great joy in serving God by loving others.

My life likes are travel, coffee, good books, movies, the arts, spending time with friends and family, and the beach.

I believe that God's word is incredibly relevant today, and that faith is the most important aspect of our lives because it makes life more sweeter, complete, and purposeful. Faith gives us strength, a path to follow, and hope. We live an upheld life when we follow Christ. This verse gives deeper context and meaning to living an upheld life.

"So do not fear, for I am with you;
do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you;
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

Isaiah 41:10

If you are trying to live an upheld life, as well, I hope you will continue meeting me here.
